Read these instructions before starting your application.
Use this form to apply for funding for training projects that help people get a qualification and experience in operating drones.
Before you complete this form, please read the initiative guidelines.
Check you are eligible
You can apply if your organisation is:
- an industry peak body
- a regional industry body
- an economic development organisation
- not-for-profit.
Your organisation must also:
- operate in Queensland
- hold a valid ABN and be registered for GST
- be an Australian incorporated entity
- hold current Public Liability Insurance (minimum $10 million) for the duration of the agreement.
Important
Skills Assure Suppliers cannot apply as lead applicants. They must be included as a project partner and nominated to deliver the training.
What you will need
Have the following ready before you start:
- your organisation's legal name, ABN, and address
- contact details for the person authorised to submit this application
- details of your proposed project, including milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- letters of support or commitment from your industry partners and employers
- your project budget.
How long this takes
Allow approximately 45-60 minutes to complete this form. You cannot save your progress and return to it later.

After you submit
You will receive a confirmation email upon submission. Your application cannot be changed after it has been submitted.
We will review your application and may contact you to request more information. We will advise you of the outcome in writing once the review is complete (indicative timeframe: September 2026).
