The Workforce Connect Fund was designed to support investment in industry and community-led projects that help to solve problems related to attracting, retaining and participation in the workforce.

Its aim is to drive systemic, industry-wide change that improves workforce outcomes for employers, employees and jobseekers.

The fund provided grants for large, scalable projects delivered by industry peak bodies and community peak organisations to implement innovative ways to attract and retain employees now and in the future.

Eligible organisations were able to apply for funding of up to $1 million per project. Successful organisations are given 24 months to complete their projects.
