Support is available for eligible registered training organisations (RTOs) to employ people who will complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
This initiative aims to build a strong pipeline of vocational education and training (VET) teachers to train the skilled workers Queensland needs.
The support comes in 2 forms:
- eligible RTOs can get funding to employ people referred to as trainees, who will complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).
- trainees can receive scholarship payments when they reach key stages in their training.
Timing
Applications are now open until 30 December 2027, or until funding is used up.
