The Australian Government supports employers to train and upskill their employees with various subsidies and incentives:
- assistance and support for employers of apprentices and trainees, including those with disability
- wage subsidies, including for people with disability, young people and mature aged people.

Industry groups
For the building and construction industry, Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) provides a range of services to employers, job seekers and workers. CSQ acts as a single point of contact to help attract, recruit, train and retain workers, ensuring a sustainable workforce into the future.
Employers in other industries can contact their relevant peak industry body or association to determine if there is any specific industry-based funding and incentives for training and skills development.
