Professor Michael E. Drew

Michael Drew is a trusted adviser to family offices, foundations, and fiduciary investors. A financial economist by training, he is co-founder of Drew, Walk & Co. and Professor Emeritus of Finance at Griffith University.

Professor Drew serves as Deputy Chair of CareSuper and as a Director of the Super Members Council and CEDA. He also holds investment committee appointments with the Petroleum Fund of Timor-Leste, Aboriginal Hostels Limited, WorkCover Queensland, and the Public Trustee of Queensland.

Michael volunteers as Chair of St Vincent’s Foundation Queensland and Volunteering Australia. Professor Drew received his PhD in Economics from the University of Queensland and read for his DPhil in financial geography at St Peter’s College, University of Oxford.

Professor Drew is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Life Member of FINSIA.
